1. Aluminum electrolytic capacitor is a two-polar structure (see the mark on the capacitor body). Please pay attention to the polarity when installing.Alternating current (ac) or the application of the reverse voltage may cause short circuit or a damaged capacitor circuit polarity may occur in the reverse or not sure, so the dual polarity capacitors is not suitable for communication applications.

2. The dc voltage loaded to the capacitors terminal shall not exceed its rated working voltage, otherwise, the leakage current will increase rapidly, which will damage the capacitor and even cause short circuit and open fire.To delay the service life of the product, it is recommended to use the capacitors at 70-80% rated voltage.

3. The ripple current loaded into the capacitors must be within the allowable range, such as overload, which will cause the capacitors to overheat and damage the electrical performance, damage the machine or even open fire. Please note that the sum of ripple voltage and dc working voltage peaks must not exceed the rated dc voltage.

4. The capacitors must be used within the allowable working temperature.Working conditions at room temperature can extend the service life.

5. The capacitors with the shell diameter greater than or equal to 8mm are equipped with a safety valve. In the welded sheet aluminum electrolytic capacitors, the safety valve is usually located at the bottom of the shell, and the bolted aluminum electrolytic capacitors is usually located on the leading end (cover) of the capacitors.Enough space is required around the valve to maintain optimum working condition. The recommended dimensions are as follows: when d=18~35mm, keep more than 3mm of space; When d=40mm or above, keep more than 5mm of space.

6. When the internal pressure of the capacitors is too high, the gas will be released through the safety valve, resulting in gaseous liquid around the safety valve, which is not a leaking electrolyte.

7. When installing the capacitor on the circuit board, please note that the safety valve should not face down and do not walk any metal or circuit near the safety valve. However, when installing screw bolt aluminum electrolytic capacitors on the side, make sure the negative pole is below the positive pole.Do not reverse the voltage.Otherwise, it may lead to excessive pressure, large leakage of electrolyte and short circuit or even open fire.

8. The capacitors should be stored at room temperature and in normal humidity, non-acidic and non-alkaline environment.Exposure to high temperatures, such as direct sunlight, can reduce its lifetime. If stored in an acid or alkaline environment, it will affect the weldability of the lead wire.

9. After long-term storage, the leakage current of aluminum electrolytic capacitors may increase. Therefore, the rated working voltage of 6-8 hours must be applied before use.

10. Manual welding: a. It must be done under specified conditions.Temperature: 350 ℃;Service time of soldering iron: 3 seconds.B. Ensure that the soldering iron will not touch any part of the capacitors body.

11. Do not overexert at the lead or end. After the capacitors is welded to the PCB plate, do not move the capacitor or move the PCB plate by gripping the capacitors. Please follow the following rules to prevent excessive pressure on the capacitors: a. do not tilt or bend the capacitors after welding.B. Ensure that the lead spacing of the product matches the weld point spacing on the PCB board.

12. The aluminum housing is not isolated from the cathode, so please do not place any conductor under the aluminum capacitors on the PCB board, otherwise it may cause a short circuit. The shell and top of the capacitors used for switching power supply are provided with a high pressure heat-shrinkable sleeve to ensure safe operation.

13. The lead wire of the capacitor whose shell diameter exceeds 14mm cannot be fixed.

14. If the capacitor is used in contact with water, salt water, oil and other conductive liquids, or in the state of condensation, it will cause failure. Please avoid using the capacitor in a liquid environment.Clean and bake before using.

15. Do not use or place in the environment of gases, ammonia and other harmful gases containing halogen compounds such as hydrogen sulfide, nitrite, sulfite, chlorine and bromine. The above gases will cause corrosion if they enter the capacitor.Fumigation and pesticide spray used in import and export can also cause corrosion, so please avoid it.

16. Do not place in places where ozone, uv and radiation are irradiated.

17. Do not use in places with excessive vibration or shock, such as free fall of capacitors, which will immediately lead to increased leakage of electricity.
