China-Ukraine Joint Poverty Alleviation Online Exhibition

China and Uzbekistan “Pursuing a Better Life-China-Uzbekistan Poverty Alleviation Achievement Exhibition” was officially launched in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan on the 24th.

China is willing to exchange poverty reduction experience with Uzbekistan and contribute to the common prosperity and prosperity of the two peoples.

Noorkulov, the first deputy minister of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan, said that the new crown epidemic in 2020 has led to an increase in the number of poor people in Uzbekistan. Uzbek President Mirziyoyev listed poverty alleviation as one of the national priorities, leading Uzbekistan to adopt a series of special measures to support the poor and formulate a long-term poverty alleviation plan. China has the world’s advanced poverty alleviation experience, and its achievements in poverty alleviation have attracted worldwide attention. Uzbekistan has begun to use China’s experience in “combining poverty alleviation with intelligence and aspirations” in some areas, including carrying out rural economic system reforms, establishing poverty alleviation mechanisms, and providing financial support.

Hong Tianyun, deputy director of the National Bureau of Rural Revitalization of China, said that as the world’s largest developing country, China has always been an active advocate and a strong promoter of poverty reduction in the world, and has always used China’s practical poverty reduction actions to promote the global poverty reduction process. Always adhere to the people-centered approach, and put poverty alleviation in a prominent position in governance. China attaches great importance to learning from the useful experience of the international community, and appreciates Uzbekistan’s vigorous efforts to promote poverty reduction. This online exhibition is jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan.
